A C-JET Grant aimed to improve livelihoods in Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast (GBAO) and Khatlon through tourism and agribusiness. It supported the private sector¡¯s growth by financing technical studies to advance existing World Bank¡¯s Private Sector Development (PSD) projects and inform new lending operations.

With support from the World Bank and various trust funds, including CJET, the efficiency of phytosanitary procedures is being enhanced in various countries. 

In January 2024, the  was launched, providing World Bank teams with cross-country evidence on the presence of Businesses of the State in the economy and regulations that tilt markets in their favor. CJET¡¯s support has been instrumental in supporting the development of key knowledge products and engagement tools related to the state footprint in markets.

A C-JET grant is powering the development of tools like the Markets and Competition Policy Assessment Tool (MCPAT), which is being applied to sectors critical to green policy, food security, and digitalization. The case studies created through this grant will feed directly into the From Market Power to Markets that Power Growth report, with tools and guidance notes supporting the preparation of Competitive Economic Models (CEMs).

A C-JET grant was designed to Support the Women, Business and Law (WBL) team to expand its research on the implementation of laws and opinions that can shed light on their effectiveness in practice. The grant also supported the development of new knowledge products to increase the impact of WBL data and analysis.
