Module 3: Improving Program Impacts in the Context of the Forcibly Displaced

The third module of the?Learning from the Evidence on Forced Displacement?training program focuses on improving forced displacement program impacts. Led by the Development Impact department of the World Bank (DIME), this training provides an overview of rigorous experimental and non-experimental techniques and highlights case studies from Colombia, Niger, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.  

The session shows how data and evidence can be used to increase the development impact of policies in forced displacement contexts, through the design of better and more effective programs. It outlines how different empirical research methods can be used to credibly document impacts on priorities such as labor market outcomes, livelihoods, social cohesion, and psychological well-being. Designed for interaction between participants and presenters, the module also discusss the importance of understanding impacts for different groups within forced displacement contexts.
