AAAWE- TAP Female Mentorship Program
Ensuring Gender Inclusivity
The implementation of the AAAWE TAP Female Mentorship Program has allowed over 100 African women pursuing careers in economics to benefit from mentorship. The program pairs mentors with early career African women economists, combats isolation and occupational segregation amongst female economists in Africa, and most importantly, boosts their visibility.
Chief Economists of Government (CEoG) Network
Fostering knowledge exchanges, lessons learned and discussions on tomorrow��s economic policies
To support this role, the CEoG Network has become an indispensable peer-learning platform for chief economic advisors coming from over 40 Sub-Saharan African countries. CEoG facilitates exchanges and provides on-demand support to individual economic advisory units. Through this platform and the knowledge offered, CEoG promotes the transformative development of African economies, improving decision-making and strategic, long-term thinking.
WBG/ AERC Scholars Program
ŷ��b��Ƭ-African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) Visiting Scholars Program offers early-mid career African economists working in Africa a six months research placement at the World Bank that enables these scholars to enhance theirresearch, access the wide-array of resources available at the World Bank, and expand their research network.

World Bank Africa Fellowship Program
The program targets young talented African nationals who are completing or have recently completed their Ph.D. in an area relevant to the World Bank��s work, building a strong pipeline of young African talent interested in a career in development, in international institutions, African governments, think tanks, and academia.
