Palestinian Umbrella for Resilience Support to the Economy (PURSE)

Overview

The key objective of the PURSE MDTF is to strengthen sustainable recovery, economic reform and social resilience in the West Bank and Gaza (WB&G).

New Significant, Streamlined Platform

The PURSE aims to provide a platform to harness the efforts of the PA, the World Bank, and DPs, to address the priority development needs of the Palestinian people at a strategic level.

Alignments

  • The PA¡¯s National Plan of Action (NPA) 2017-2022 and the National Development Plan (NDP) 2021-2023, which places the economy and human capital in the core of its strategy
  • Donors¡¯ areas of interest (including co- and parallel financing)
