Over the past decade, Georgia has managed to halve extreme poverty ¨C from 37.3 percent of the population in 2010 to 17.5 percent in 2021. As we mark EndPovertyDay 2022, we take stock of Georgia¡¯s transformational development journey throughout 30 years of partnership with the World Bank. In this video, current and former Georgian and World Bank officials reflect on the major milestones in the country over the past three decades, highlighting the challenges that were met and the opportunities seized.
