Carolina Lopez


Carolina Lopez is a Research Economist in the Human Development Team of the World Bank's Development Research Group. She focuses on topics related to education, human capital, and behavioral economics. In her research, she studies how people's beliefs about the world affect their behavior and welfare. Methodologically, her research combines randomized controlled trials with administrative records. Before joining the World Bank, she was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School. She holds a Bachelor in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Salta, a Master in Economics from Universidad Nacional de La Plata in Argentina, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Brown University.
