Overview

South Asia is the third-largest contributor to global plastic waste. It flows into rivers and ends up in oceans threatens development and has far-reaching economic, ecological, and health impacts.

Å·ÃÀÈÕb´óƬ, , and the (SACEP) have formed a unique partnership to help the region curb its marine plastic pollution and ramp up eco-innovation to reinvent plastic use and production.

will coordinate action and facilitate South Asia¡¯s transition to a circular plastic economy by encouraging investments and greater collaboration between the public and private sectors and across countries.
