The theme for this year¡¯s is ¡°Health for All: Time for Action¡±. It calls on national leaders to enact policies that guarantee equitable access to essential health services that are affordable. They are also urged to renew action-oriented political commitment that will refocus political attention and financial investments on accelerating UHC progress.
In the aftermath of COVID-19, the theme also reminds us that as the world continues to experience a growing number of health- and climate-related threats, now is the time to invest in resilient health systems to ensure #HealthForAll. Countries must invest in resilient and equitable health systems to progress towards UHC which is crucial to social and economic development.
