The video features Jaime Saavedra¡¯s message to the participants attending the launch of the Twin Reports on Remote Learning during COVID-19. The event takes place on Nov. 18 at 10:30am (EST). The Global Director for Education illustrates the key components of the reports as both documents examine the effectiveness of remote learning programs implemented during COVID-19 school closures using available quantitative and qualitative evidence, including interviews with education practitioners from 17 countries. The studies also analyze how countries implemented multi-modal remote learning strategies, learners¡¯ take-up, the available evidence on the effectiveness to ensure learning continuity, and from these draw lessons for policymakers as they strive to build on the investments made to reimagine learning going forward.
