Haiti Makes Progress in its Efforts to Save the Winter Harvest

On average, half of all production losses following a tropical storm in Haiti are within the agricultural sector, which disproportionately affects the poorest families. After Hurricane Matthew, saving the winter harvest was a key priority to restore agricultural production. For Christophe Grosjean, Agricultural Specialist at the World Bank, this is a key priority to stave off the risk of increased food insecurity in the country post-hurricane.
