World Bank Group (WBG) supports reforms to improve fiscal space and public spending. It also supports greater efficiency in the electricity sector and an increase in the coverage and quality of health and social safety nets. WBG also strenghtens reforms to improve the quality of education and skills, a better investment climate, and increased mobilization of financing for underserved groups and infrastructure. Finally, it promotes the sustainability of landscapes and natural resources, water management, strengthening the country's capacity to cope with extreme weather events.
