ABOUT THE EVENT
The event Green, Resilient, and Inclusive Development (GRID) in Action: A High-Level Dialogue for Nepal with the government, development partners, private sector, think tanks, and youth representatives was organized by the World Bank on June 21, 12:00-1:45 PM.
The high-level dialogue discussed:
¡¤&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è; Advancing Nepal¡¯s shift to a green, resilient, and inclusive development (GRID) pathway, building on the September 2021 Kathmandu Declaration on GRID endorsed by the Government of Nepal (GoN) and 17 Development Partners (DPs).
¡¤&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è; Priorities, challenges, and opportunities for investment, institutions, incentives, and information to inform Nepal¡¯s GRID Strategic Action Plan on which the government has just started preparing.
¡¤&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è;&²Ô²ú²õ±è; Forging a shared understanding of integrated climate and development priorities as part of Nepal¡¯s GRID pathway, based on the World Bank¡¯s upcoming Climate Change Development Report (CCDR).
The High-level dialogue was organized as a part of the visit of Ms. Mari Elka Pangestu, World Bank Managing Director of Development Policy and Partnerships and World Bank Vice President for South Asia, Mr. Hartwig Schafer.
