Ulla-Stina Henttonen

Ulla-Stina Henttonen, a Finnish national, joined the Subnational B-READY in 2024. Henttonen previously worked with the World Bank Group in 2021–2022 as a consultant on the Subnational Investment Climate Assessment for Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. Currently pursuing her PhD in international relations at the University of Tampere in Finland, she previously worked in the private sector and in research organizations on transatlantic relations, technology policy, public affairs, and communications. Henttonen holds a master’s degree in international relations and international economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, DC, and a bachelor’s degree from Malmö University in Sweden. In addition to her native Finnish, Henttonen is proficient in Italian and French and has an intermediate working knowledge of Spanish and Swedish.
