Burak Turkgulu
- Data Specialist, Subnational Business Ready
Burak Turkgulu, a Turkish national, joined the Global Indicators Group in 2024 as a Data Specialist on the Subnational B-READY team. Prior to joining DECIG, Turkgulu worked as a consultant at the World Bank for various analytical projects in infrastructure economics and finance. He is a coauthor of the Infrastructure VP鈥檚 flagship report Off the Books: Understanding and Mitigating Fiscal Risks of Infrastructure, and of several research articles. Turkgulu鈥檚 other areas of expertise include political and institutional economics and macroeconomics. He holds an MA in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park and Bo臒azi莽i University (Istanbul, T眉rkiye), and a BS in industrial engineering from Bo臒azi莽i University. He speaks Turkish.
