Simeon Koffi is an economist currently serving as Senior Economist in the Office of the Chief Economist for the Africa region at the World Bank, where he is a member of the Macroeconomic team. With more than a decade of experience in public service, he spent ten years at the Ministry of Planning and Development in Cote d¡¯Ivoire, holding various roles including Project Manager, Head of Statistics Service, and Deputy Director for Regional Capacity Development. Following this, he dedicated four impactful years at the Ministry of Finance, where he worked as a Researcher in the Strategic Studies, Development, and Projects Department, and later as a Technical Advisor to the General Manager of Economy. 

Alongside his professional endeavors, Simeon played a pivotal role in academia, overseeing the Applied Econometrics course at F¨¦lix Houphou?t-Boigny University in Cote d¡¯Ivoire and providing guidance to Master¡¯s students in the Economic Policy Management program, particularly in crafting their research theses. 

Simeon holds two Master¡¯s degrees in Economics, specializing in Econometrics from Waseda University, Japan, and Economic Policy Management from F¨¦lix Houphou?t-Boigny University, C?te d¡¯Ivoire.
