The search for comprehensive and concerted solutions can bear fruit only if our countries give priority to the implementation of projects with a high intensity of poverty reduction and the promotion of good governance. Public policies must play a central role in strengthening national resilience, by mobilizing domestic resources and increasing productive investment in key sectors such as energy, transport, telecommunications, water, agriculture, and education, while adapting to climate change. However, our countries must also strengthen their institutional capacities, promote transparency and ensure exemplary governance.
