1.         The Tunisian government is prioritizing improved road safety and is seeking to underpin a future investment program in road safety. In addition to existing efforts to strengthen law enforcement and change behaviors; Tunisia will seek to integrate "safe system" principles into its infrastructure development programs through a "forgiving" design that takes into account human behavior and limits.  This assignment is for a team of technical experts (hereafter ¡°the Team¡±) who will support the World Bank to work with Tunisia¡¯s ¡°direction generale des ponts et chaussees¡± (DGPC) on identifying a program of road safety investments that can support improved results.
